200 Statues & Sculptures – A Printed Archive
Publication
2024
This project is a 200-page printed publication that explores the most unique and unconventional statues from around the world. Designed as an extensive visual archive, the book curates a diverse collection of sculptures, carefully selected for their distinctiveness and artistic intrigue. The research process involved days of compiling a list of statues that are lesser-known yet visually compelling, ensuring that each page showcases something truly remarkable. It was printed on grey sugar paper. A thicker paper in a similar shade was chosen for the cover, reinforcing the material consistency throughout the book. The publication follows a square format, balancing practicality and visual impact. Typography played a key role in the design, with a mix of fonts on the cover to reflect the individuality of each statue. Each page was refined based on feedback, incorporating additional details such as the location, creator, year of unveiling.
